Shipping policy
Order Processing
All products in stock will be processed and dispatched within one working day of us receiving your order. Orders are processed and packaged during normal office hours of 9-5pm, Monday to Friday. If you have placed your order on a weekend, we will action this as soon as possible on Monday.
Orders placed before 12 p.m. will be dispatched the SAME day; anything after that will be dispatched the following day. Delays may occur during sales periods.
For those items which are made-to-order, or available pre-order only, your order will be processed within one working day and you will be sent an email confirmation detailing the approximate delivery date of your items. If for any reason we are unable to meet this dispatch turnaround we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know.
Delivery Within New Zealand
Our standard delivery times are 1-2 working days around NZ . Plus an extra 1-2 day to a rural delivery address.
For large and heavy items/orders, additional shipping costs will apply. This is calculated automatically at checkout. If you think it is incorrect, please email sales@homelabstore.co.nz for a quote.
Once we have picked and packed your order and the courier has picked it up, a tracking number will be sent to you so you can follow its progress.
We do not require signature for deliveries as long as you provide all address details and any extra information in regard to where to leave your parcel, we will make sure you receive it.
Delivery Within Australia
Our standard delivery times are 3-4 working days.

Furniture Deliveries
All Furniture deliveries are Door to Door only- please contact us prior to order placement if you require any additional delivery service (e.g Up stairs or into apartments and inside) as this may require extra cost. Please allow up to 7 business days for furniture deliveries. Some remote areas may take longer.
Due to the unpredictable nature of furniture freight costs. We reserve the right to requote your freight after your order has been placed.
Click & Collect
As we don't have a physical store we are happy to accommodate Click and collect on furniture orders where possible. Our warehouse is located not far from Auckland Airport. A Standard $15 Collection Fee applies to all collect orders.
Please note our warehouse hours are 8.30-4.30pm WEEKDAYS.
We are not able to accommodate any weekend collections sorry.
International Orders
If you live outside of New Zealand and wish to purchase a product from Home Lab Store, please email sales@homelabstore.co.nz with details of your delivery location and we will provide you with a shipping quote. Furniture and any bulky items are unavailable to ship internationally sorry.
Damage & Theft of Items
Our couriers will either request a signature upon delivery or take a photo of the item at the location it was left. Once delivery is confirmed, we are not liable for any theft or damage that occurs afterward, as it is beyond our control.
Please inspect your delivery as soon as possible. If any damage is found, report it to us immediately. We have a 7 day window to file a damage claim with the courier, so timely reporting is essential.
